COVID vaccine risk vs COVID risk in children
The amount of heat I am taking re my position on COVID vaccines in children is mind boggling.
I am not sure how else to explain this, so, I will take one more shot at this.
According to the Government of Canada data.
0.009% serious vaccine injury per dose (death/perm disability/etc).
Each person takes 2 doses = 0.018% serious vaccine injury rate per person (J&J is a single dose vaccine, but, it has not been used in Canada generally speaking and certainly not in children).
so for every 1 million children double vaccinated, the rate of serious vaccine injury (death or permanent disability) is 180 per 1 million (0.018% of 1,000,000).
According to CDC data, Health Canada, Stanford, Oxford, Harvard, Yale - the death rate in children from COVID is approximately 1 in 1 million.
now, the actual death rate in healthy children is literally ZERO. The only children who typically die from COVID are those with serious health issues - leukaemia, obesity/severe diabetes/etc…
there is ZERO efficacy in vaccinating young and healthy children - you are exposing them to risk much more significant than COVID - its not even close. 180x the risk to a severe vaccine outcome vs COVID.
This is all short term data. We still have no view into long term effects. That could make this equation look much worse, or, there could be zero long term effects - nobody knows at this point.
Children with severe health issues? I haven’t run those numbers, but, sure, lets say there is some efficacy there. Certainly not for young and healthy children however.
how is this controversial? I’m using nothing but formal government data and grade 5 math here.
