Protecting our democracy

Hilarious. Absolutely hilarious. This is just one such person and one such example, but, if you get sucked into the twitterverse, this is a common sentiment of the modern day left and the media who ultimately fuel such nonsense

I mean it’s more obvious and worse in the US because, well, there’s only 2 parties. These folks are too obtuse to understand that a single party state and single party tolerance simply cannot be defined as a “democracy”

I’m no fan of Donald Trump the person, but now we need to make the other side “pay”? Pay for what? 4 years of peace and a booming economy? Low gas prices and low inflation? Or what exactly?

Canada is much the same, where state media has ingrained the “US vs THEM” mentality

Anything right of Karl Marx is now “far alt right”, bad horrible evil people. Racists, sexist, anti this or that and all sorts of phobics correct?

So you better go along with us, agree with us, say what you’re told to say and do as you’re told to do. Chicks can have dicks, men can get pregnant and take every single injection we demand of you - or else - we will label you and cancel you, or worse right? You must be held accountable correct? Such fascist swine

I’m sure there is a “far right” element in Canada, but all 12 of them aren’t nearly the threat of the “far left” in Canada. The “far left” controls the media, our politics and our institutions. They call themselves “Liberals”, but as a lifetime self identified person possessing traditional liberal values, this is offensive beyond belief. I fail to see even a single traditional liberal value maintained by these clowns

We need way more representation in the moderate center - both left and right. We need actual tolerance. Mostly what we need though is a return to respecting the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms - otherwise, tyrants can just abuse their political opposition, as has clearly occurred and is still occurring in Canada

I mean what’s trapping the unvaccinated in the country all about? It’s effectively the modern day Berlin Wall. If you oppose us politically - or heaven forbid, decide, for whatever reason, you didn’t want to take a particular injection - we will confine you and continue to persecute you correct?

We have allowed these tyrants, disguised beneath ideas of tolerance and nonsensical notions of “the greater good” and “for your safety”, to create a society which is anything but tolerant or inclusive or equitable. Agree with us, do as you’re told and say what you’re told - and everything will be just fine

This is the democracy they insist they are protecting? Give me a freaking break
