The scourge
It’s not about black lives. It’s not about indigenous lives. Its not about the patriarchy. It’s not about a virus. It’s not about climate change.
It’s about stealing the wealth & power which free people and free markets had distributed to the hands of the many, back into the hands of the few.
Over the last 100 years, the perpetrators of this insanity haven’t even blinked at the couple hundred million people they have killed playing this game.
You really think they care if you or your loved ones live or die?
I am not sure when or if society will ever learn their lesson and put a stop to this madness. But when our descendants study history, they won’t be learning about Communist Russia, WWI, WWII, the Korean War, the Cold War, Mao’s revolution, or the fall of post modernist western civilization. Rather, they will be taught “The Age of Marxism - 1915 to 2035”
This is down to capitalism, not socialism. Sure there's some propaganda like this being pushed but it's for the profit of the few, not the benefit of the many. China is raking in the profits from the tests, masks and PPE (lol). What has this to do with communism? None of the this is for the benefit of the whole world, only for China's profit.
To their credit... and society's chagrin... the Frankfurt School recognized the inherent failures of Marxism... especially on persuading people to be willing to implement the worker's revolution. They tried to find ways around the glaring flaws with some degree of success.
Now, instead of focusing on the imaginary divide between the imaginary noble worker vs the imaginary robber baron, the Marxists focused on less quantitative grievances especially those made manifest by changeable definitions.
For example, the oft touted gendered wage gap 83% is "created" by weighing the wages of all men against all women regardless of the type of job. If they compared male vs female in any particular job, the wage gap vanishes; wage equality laws fixed that long ago. So instead, they focus on the macro.
If pushed on the matter, they will offer up comparisons of jobs which tend to be dominated by one gender or the other... for example nurses (mostly female) vs police officers (mostly male). Within each profession, no gendered wage gap... but starting salaries for nurses are lower than starting salaries for cops.
